Under the supervision of the Roads Supervisor, the Public Works Labourer will be expected to perform labourer tasks as well as operate machinery as assigned.

  • Operate dump trucks as assigned
  • Operate various types of Public Works equipment as assigned
  • Work shift work
Qualifications
  • Applicants must possess a valid Ontario Driver’s License, Class DZ
  • Grade 12 education or equivalency
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Good knowledge of the names and locations of City streets is necessary
  • Ability to lift and work with heavy objects
  • Current WHMIS Certificate an asset
  • Clear Driver’s Abstract required
