CERTIFIED SCAFFOLDERS & RED SEAL CARPENTERS – TEMPORARY SHUTDOWN WORK

APRIL 14 -17 & APRIL 22 – MAY 2, 2025

Wage: $48.66 per hour

Employment Term: Approximately April 14 -17 & April 22 – May 2, 2025

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7am-7pm

YOUR ROLE

The Kruger Kamloops Pulp Mill is currently seeking Certified Scaffolders and Red Seal Carpenters to assist with scaffolding for our upcoming maintenance shutdown.

The rate will be $48.66 per hour. Travel allowance and living out allowance is not provided. Overtime is paid at time-and-a-half after 9 hours, double-time after 10 hours. Weekends are paid at time-and-a-half, double-time after 9 hours.

Temporary shutdown workers must have CSA approved steel toe boots and various tools required by their trade.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Possess a recognized scaffolding certification (if applicable);
  2. Possess a Red Seal certification in Carpentry (if applicable);
  3. Previous experience working as a scaffolder in a safety-sensitive industrial environment is an asset;
  4. Previous shutdown experience is an asset;
  5. Previous experience working at a Kraft Pulp Mill is an asset.
