We are seeking a Temporary Rental Coordinator for our Acheson, AB (Edmonton) office. As a Rental Coordinator, your role will involve being the primary customer contact for rental equipment, managing customer accounts, generating sales by answering calls, resolving problems, and following up to ensure customer satisfaction. You will also coordinate documentation and maintain customer-tracking data, focusing on operational excellence and safety. Additionally, you will stay updated on all rental equipment features and applications, and implement quality process improvements.

Your responsibilities include:

  1. Creating reservations and rental agreements in the system, along with necessary documentation.
  2. Researching and locating equipment for sales staff as needed.
  3. Assisting with Accounts Receivable and following up on past-due invoices.
  4. Creating purchase orders for vendors and processing invoices.
  5. Maintaining and updating expiring rental contract return dates.
  6. Supporting logistical arrangements.

Location: This position is based in Acheson, AB (Edmonton) and reports to the Customer Service Manager.

Experience Requirements: Minimum of one year in customer service, sales, or rental business.

Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs., and perform bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, crouching, and kneeling.

Knowledge: Effective verbal communication skills, sales techniques, and knowledge of Atlas Copco Rental equipment. Proficiency in Office 365 is required.
