About the role

QA Technician
Seasonal Contract - ASAP to December 31
Location: Hope, BC

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $28.13 / hour
• Health & Dental Package available after 45 days
• $0.75 / hour night shift premium
• $1,500.00 Completion Bonus

Responsibilities

• Perform routine quality inspections on the bottling line.
• Assist with production line start-ups.
• Operate and maintain the water treatment system daily.
• Conduct lab analysis of physical, chemical, and microbiological parameters for spring water and flavored beverages.
• Enter data into various databases accurately.
• Develop and maintain quality systems and programs within the facility.
• Work a 12-hour rotating shift, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field preferred.
• Experience with membrane filtration, enumeration, and confirmation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Word for data recording.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of good lab and manufacturing practices.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Experience in high-speed beverage or food manufacturing environment preferred.
• Familiarity with HACCP.
• Ability to reliably commute or plan to relocate to Hope, BC before starting.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.
