The School Counsellor is a specialist who provides support for students with intensive needs. These personnel consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents and other personnel or agencies to support student success at school. Furthermore, the School Counsellor acts as a liaison between the school, home, community and other agencies to help students function effectively and achieve their fullest potential.

The School Division offers a competitive compensation package. The School Counsellor shall receive a salary of Class lll, lV or V on the STF grid from Step 1 to Step 8 depending on qualifications, education, and experience.
