Qualifications

• Completion of a Personal Support Worker certificate program from a recognized post-secondary institution.
• Must be willing to pursue further training/education in the PSW field.
• Familiarity with Health & Safety Procedures, Resident Bill of Rights, Fixing Long-Term Care Act, 2021, and Point Click Care.
• Demonstrates a commitment to safe, efficient care to residents.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and transfers.
• Assisting with meals and nutrition support.

• Performing minor treatments and reporting health observations.
• Responding to call bells with attentiveness and empathy.

Elgin Manor is a 90-bed long-term care facility situated in the Township of Southwold, just a few minutes outside of St. Thomas, Ontario. Each home area is equipped with recreation rooms, sitting areas, and television lounges to enhance programming, socialization, and visits from family and friends. Elgin Manor also features multiple outdoor garden patio areas and walkways in a tranquil rural setting, right in the heart of beautiful Elgin County.

About the Role:

As a certified Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in our residents' daily lives. You'll be joining a dedicated care team that works collaboratively to support dignity, safety, and overall well-being through established job routines.

Your responsibilities include:

• Providing personal care such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and transfers

Qualifications:
