Job Responsibilities:

Peace Wapiti Public School Division (PWPSD) serves approximately 6,100 students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12 across 34 schools. The division is one of the largest employers in the Grande Prairie/Spirit River region. We are seeking a Temporary Part Time Hutterite Colonies School Principal (0.70 FTE) to lead nine Colony Schools with around 174 students. The ideal candidate is committed to student learning, equity, wellness, and professional growth, and has skills to engage students, staff, parents, and the community in developing a research-driven, student-centered learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Education degree
• Current Alberta Teachers Certificate
• Excellence in Teaching Quality Standard and Leadership Quality Standard
• Commitment to research-driven professional practice and collaboration
• Willingness to participate in extracurricular activities (asset)
