Job summary

AFIMAC is seeking licensed Security Guards for upcoming projects throughout Ontario. This is a temporary contract position with full-time hours, paying CA$22.66 per hour. Expect travel within the province, with accommodations provided when required.

You will earn approximately CA$1,872.00 per week on assignment, with hotel accommodations and a $30 per diem when lodging is required. Flexible scheduling includes 12-hour shifts, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Ontario security guard license or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel within Ontario for projects (short notice).
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Provide security services across assigned sites per contract.
• Monitor surveillance and respond to incidents calmly and decisively.
• Deter security risks and assist in crisis situations as needed.

Skills

Valid Ontario Security Guard license

Ability to travel on short notice

English literacy (read/write/speak)

Endurance for long shifts (12 hours)

Education

Security guard certification or equivalent
