Job summary

Rocky View Schools is seeking a temporary full-time Middle School Humanities teacher for Meadowbrook Middle School in the City of Airdrie, Alberta. The assignment runs from August 27, 2026, to June 29, 2027, serving students in grades 7–9, including the Christian Program.

Applicants must hold or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate and provide required references and a vulnerable sector check within 30 days of starting.

Qualifications

• Must possess or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate.
• New/Recent Graduates: final practicum report in lieu of reference letter.
• External applicants must provide a professional reference letter from most recent supervisor.
• Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check required within 30 days of start.

The Opportunity

RVS invites you to apply for a temporary full-time (1.0 FTE) Middle School Humanities teaching position starting August 27, 2026 until June 29, 2027 at Meadowbrook Middle School. This position is not open to those holding a Continuing Teaching contract with RVS. Pre-Employment Requirements
