Job description

Duration: November 2025 (with possible extension)

Schedule: 40 hours per week

Location: Belleville, ON

Salary: $32.38 - $39.03 per hour (September 1, 2025 rate)

The Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board (HPEDSB) serves approximately 15,400 students daily across 38 schools, including elementary, K-12, and secondary institutions. The district covers a geographic area of 7,220 square kilometres, bordered by Maynooth, Deseronto, Prince Edward County, and Quinte West. It features a mix of small cities, villages, rural landscapes, and access to extensive shoreline, outdoor activities, and cultural attractions. The district recognizes and honors the traditional territories of the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe peoples.

Job Overview: The successful applicant will support the operation of Student Information Systems, including tasks such as attendance, scheduling, and special education. Responsibilities include managing integrations, user management, data requests, reporting, and providing training and support to staff and end-users.

Qualifications:

  • Four-year university degree in computer science or a three-year college diploma with industry experience and certifications.
  • At least three years of experience with troubleshooting, support, and maintenance of student information software.
  • Experience with third-party applications like School Messenger/Safe Arrivals, D2L/Brightspace, MyBluePrint, PowerBI, Destiny Library, SQL databases is an asset.
  • Excellent computer skills, problem-solving, analysis, time management, and communication skills.
  • Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Background check.
