Job summary

Rocky View Schools (RVS) invites applications for a temporary full-time High School CTS/CALM & Learning Support teaching position at the Cochrane Campus. The assignment runs from November 16, 2026, until January 29, 2027, and serves students in grades 9–12 at the Cochrane Community Learning Centre.

Applicants must possess or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate. New/Recent Graduates may submit their practicum report in lieu of a reference letter.

Qualifications

• Applicants must possess or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate.
• New/Recent Graduates Only: In lieu of a reference letter please submit your final practicum report.
• External applicants must provide a professional letter of reference from their most recent supervisor, written on company letterhead, signed and dated within the past 18 months.
• The successful candidate must submit a current Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check within 30 days of the start of your employment.

The Opportunity

RVS invites you to apply fora temporary full-time (1.0 FTE) High School CTS/CALM & Learning Supportteachingposition starting November 16, 2026 until January 29, 2027 at the RVS Community Learning Centre -Cochrane Campus.

RVS Community Learning Centre - Cochrane Campus, located in the Town of Cochrane, serves students from grades 9-12. Information regarding this school may be found at https://rvsclc.rockyview.ab.ca/.

This position is not open to those holding a Continuing Teaching contract with RVS.

Pre-employment Requirements

• Applicantsmust possess or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate. To be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate you must have applied for initial certificationwith Alberta Education at www.alberta.ca/teacher-certification.
