Job Opportunity: Temporary Full-Time Foods Teacher (Grades 9-12)

St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Schools invites applications for a full-time, temporary teaching position in Foods for grades 9-12 at Christ The King School in Leduc, Alberta. The position is scheduled to begin on August 25, 2025, and end on June 26, 2026.

Preferred candidates will have the ability to assist with co-curricular and extra-curricular programs, which would be considered an asset. Possessing a certificate in Catholic Education from St. Joseph's College is also an asset.

Serving grades 9 to 12 with approximately 325 students, Christ the King School has been a part of the Leduc community for nearly 30 years. The school is dedicated to helping students achieve high academic standards, build community, and grow in faith and relationships through Jesus Christ.

Applicants are encouraged to submit their resume along with two reference letters. While a pastoral reference is not required, it would be considered an asset. Successful applicants will need to submit a current (within 6 months) Criminal Record Check, including a vulnerable sector check, and a current Alberta Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within 6 months).
