• Appropriate educational training and experience teaching the Alberta CTF and CTS Programs of Studies.
• A strong understanding of outcomes based assessment practices.
• Willingness to work collaboratively as a member of an instructional team.
• A commitment to building relationships with students to create a safe, caring and welcoming learning environment.
• A strong belief in parent involvement and communication including regular communication with home beyond the use of report cards.
• Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
• In depth knowledge of and experience with current outcomes based assessment practices and ability to develop multiple assessments such as portfolios and projects, in addition to more traditional assessments.
• An ability to ensure success for students with diverse academic, behavioural, emotional and/or curricular needs within the classroom setting.
• Alberta Teaching Certificate or eligibility for same.

We Are Seeking a Teacher Who Has
