Job summary

South East Cornerstone Public School Division in Estevan, Saskatchewan, is seeking a Program Designer for the South Area to support Early Years programming at the Estevan Early Years Family Resource Centre. This 1.0 FTE temporary role begins November 1, 2026 and ends June 30, 2027, reporting to the Coordinator of Early Learning.

The successful candidate will guide both theory and practice, strengthen community connections, and support 0-5 children with diverse learning needs and their families,

Qualifications

• Experience with young children in early learning settings.
• Background as Educational Assistant (EA) or Early Childhood Educator (ECE) preferred.
• Knowledge of current early learning educational trends.

Responsibilities

The South East Cornerstone Public School Division invites applications for a Program Designer for the South Area. This full-time position will be based out of the south area with responsibilities at the Estevan Early Years Family Resource Centre.

This position will report to the Coordinator of Early Learning and will be immediately responsible to:

• Provide theoretical and practical guidance to the Estevan Early Years Family Resource Centre to ensure the highest quality in early years family programming.
• Foster early learning connections within communities in the southeast and especially within the Estevan Early Years Family Resource Centre.
• Provide support to children 0 - 5 with diverse learning needs and their families.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children and a background as either an Educational Assistant (EA) or Early Childhood Educator (ECE). They will be an enthusiastic, organized and motivated team player possessing a strong knowledge of current early learning educational trends.

The successful candidate will have a commitment to the ideals of public education as well as the mission, vision, and guiding principles of the South East Cornerstone Public School Division.

Salary and benefits are in accordance with the current Out-of-Scope Salary Grid and division guidelines.
