Peace Wapiti Public School Division (PWPSD) invites applications for a Temporary Full-Time Educational Assistant (30 hours/week) at SHADY LANE COLONY SCHOOL. The Educational Assistant works under the supervision of a certificated teacher and may assist with personal care and physical tasks as needed.

Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma (Educational Assistant Diploma preferred). CPR/First Aid is an asset; experience with children in classroom settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Educational Assistant Diploma preferred.
• CPR/First Aid would be asset.
• Experience working with children in classroom/organized setting preferred.
• Ability and willingness to perform required physical tasks and assist with personal care.
