Job summary

South East Cornerstone Public School Division is seeking an energetic School Bus Driver to transport students on Manor Area Route #84-437. The role is temporary with approximately 5 hours per day in a split shift, starting as soon as possible.

Qualifications include Class 5 Driver's License with S Endorsement, First Aid & CPR, a clear driver’s abstract, and a commitment to public education. Training is provided if qualifications are not met.

Job description

South East Cornerstone Public School Division is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and fun person to fill the role of School Bus Driver. If you are a parent or grandparent who currently drives students to and from school, you are an ideal individual to fill this role. For parents with non-school age children we can provide certain safety seating so they can accompany you and their older sibling(s).

Qualifications

• Class 5 Driver's License with “S” Endorsement

• Commitment to the ideals of public education as well as the mission, vision and guiding principles of the South East Cornerstone Public School Division

Salary & Benefits

Salary and benefits are in accordance with the currently negotiated CUPE 4869 Collective Agreement as listed on our website . The starting wage for this position is currently a daily rate of $79.53 plus $0.17 per kilometer along with a full benefit package and an employer defined pension plan.
