An established industry player is seeking compassionate individuals for temporary employment opportunities at a residential treatment program. The positions include Night Attendants, Relief Counsellors, and more, focusing on providing quality treatment to Indigenous and Metis people. Temporary Employment Opportunities
The Biidaaban Healing Lodge is a 12-unit residential treatment program located on the Biigtigong Nishnaabeg formerly Pic River First Nation, which is approximately 25 kilometers from Marathon, ON. We are mandated to provide quality treatment to all Indigenous and Metis people residing in the Robinson Superior Treaty area. We provide programming and treatment for unresolved trauma stemming from sexual abuse, family violence, adult children of trauma, grief and abandonment and anger solutions.
Temporary/Casual Vacancies
Biidaaban Healing Lodge is accepting resumes for the following positions on call as needed basis:
• Night Attendants
• Relief Counsellors
• Assistant Counsellors
• Maintenance
Interested individuals will work as a team member within the Healing Lodge and in conjunction with the First Nation communities in the area and under the direction of the supervisor for the respective department.

Hours of Work: Hours of work may vary depending on the needs and will be as needed on an on-call basis, unless previously scheduled.
Qualifications:
❖ Experience working with First Nation’s individuals, families and communities, and a working knowledge of healing and recovery from a Native perspective.
❖ Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong communication skills.
❖ An understanding of the issues that impact First Nation communities and the Anishinaabek way of life
Salary: Wages will be negotiated commensurate with experience
