Job summary

Renfrew County District School Board is seeking a Temporary Educational Support Personnel for Champlain Discovery Public School, Pembroke. The role is 100% FTE (35 hours per week) from September 1, 2026 to December 18, 2026 or return of incumbent.

Duties include assisting with mobility, toileting, feeding, and related supports. Applicants should hold a two-year diploma in social services (DSW, CYW, SSW) or equivalent, with transcripts if requested.

Qualifications

• A minimum two year community college diploma in the social services field (e.g. DSW, CYW, SSW).
• Transcripts may be requested to support relevant course detail.
• Applicants must have a proven ability and willingness to perform the essential duties of an Educational Support Personnel, including toileting, diapering, feeding, lifting, transferring, positioning and providing assistance with mobility.

Responsibilities

• Toileting, diapering, feeding, lifting, transferring and positioning to assist mobility.
• Provide support with daily living activities as needed.
• Support health and safety procedures as required by the school.
