Heidelberg Materials is looking for a qualified Dispatcher for our Winnipeg, MB operations. Reporting to the Transportation Supervisor, this position will focus on efficient and effective trucking dispatch, front‑line interface with our customers and contracted haulers as well as scaling operations. This is a 12‑month temporary position.

What you’ll get to do:
  • Monitor and control dispatch and movement of our hired haulers
  • Responsible for the efficient distribution of aggregates product to ensure maximum efficiencies and customer service
  • Prioritize customers to provide superior service
  • Receive customer orders and schedule deliveries to ensure customer satisfaction and transportation efficiencies
  • Schedule trucks as required to meet customer orders while maintaining an efficient operation
Essential Experience And Skills
  • Post‑Secondary education preferred: certification, diploma or degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated customer service experience.
  • Aggregates, Ready mix and/or construction building materials sector experience would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of the Winnipeg & surrounding areas
  • Advanced communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • A strong team‑oriented personality who gets along well with people.
What We Have To Offer
  • Competitive base salary $28.00 – $32.00 per hour plus overtime.
Work Environment
  • This role operates in an office setting. Located at our Pine Ridge offices, 12 km NE of the city of Winnipeg in the RM of Springfield.
  • Our pre‑employment process includes reference checks, a medical, and a criminal record check. A driver’s abstract check may be required.
