Job Description

Giant Tiger Wholesale is looking to hire a permanent Defoiler for our 660,000 square foot distribution centre in Johnstown, Ontario! Note: This is a temporary placement with an estimated end date of July 26, 2025.

Highlights

• Scans the iLPN into Symbotic;
• Ensures there are no big gaps between boxes and that each tier is even and consistent with no partial tiers;
• Coordinates the removal of empty pallets;
• Removes plastic wrap, tape, straps, etc;
• Ensures higher priority replenishments are inducted first;
• Troubleshoots rejected pallets;
• Stops and troubleshoots crushed and/or dropped boxes;
• Ensures that pallets meet the maximum height, width, and overhang requirements.

Requirements

• Experience as an Order Picker or a similar position;
• Must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time;
• Must be able to lift heavy items for extended periods of time;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Voice picking or Manhattan Warehouse Management System experience is an asset.

Schedule
Sunday to Thursday, 10:00PM to 6:30AM
