Job description

Transdev Canada is hiring a Temporary Clerk/Dispatcher for our Vernon location.

As a Temporary Clerk/Dispatcher, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of administrative tasks to support daily office operations and for scheduling the HandyDART drivers routes.

Dispatcher (2 Hours/day)
  • Answer client phone calls and schedule/coordinate HandyDART driver movements accordingly.
  • Use the radio to dispatch drivers efficiently and maintain clear communication.
Temporary Clerk (4 Hours/day)
  • Process new employee files and submit for approval.
  • Maintain all employee files according to company policy.
  • Process vendor invoices for payment.
  • Accounts payable experience.
  • Calculate driver/staff payroll and input payroll information into the system.
  • Receive and process applications and schedule interviews.
  • Answer the telephone and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Location
