Job summary

Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board is recruiting for the 2026/2027 school year to provide daily temporary classroom support when regular teaching staff are unavailable. TCSPs help maintain instruction and classroom routines in partnership with teachers.

Candidates should hold a university degree or equivalent in their subject area; first- or second-year Faculty of Education students are preferred. A Vulnerable Sector Check within 6 months is required, with a commitment of at least one day

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent in subject matter expertise.
• 1st and 2nd year Faculty of Education students preferred.
• Vulnerable Sector Check valid within 6 months from date of hire.
• Availability to commit to at least one day per week.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Practicing Catholic preferred.

TCSPs in this role will provide daily temporary support in the classroom in the event occasional teaching staff are unable to fill a permanent teacher vacancy.

Qualifications

• University degree / a combination of experience and education resulting in the applicant achieving Subject Matter Expertise in their field.
• 1st and 2nd year Faculty of Education students (preferred).
• A Vulnerable Sector Check valid within 6 months from date of hire is a condition of hire with the Board.
• Availability - need to commit to be available a minimum of one day per week or more.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Practicing Catholic (preferred).
