The London District Catholic School Board is seeking an Occasional Teacher at the Intermediate/Senior Business level to support Catholic education across LDCSB elementary and secondary schools in Middlesex, Oxford and Elgin counties. The role requires travel to multiple sites, with short-notice assignments and a 10-month schedule.

Successful candidates must have a Bachelor of Education and be in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers; Catholic faith life and strong instructional

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor of Education Degree and be in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers.
• Intermediate/Senior Business qualifications required
• Teaching experience in a Catholic school system is preferred
• Working knowledge of the Ontario Catholic Graduate Expectations, Ethical Standards for the Teaching Profession, and the Standards of Practice for the Teaching Profession
• A practicing Catholic with an active Catholic Faith life
• Proficient knowledge & understanding of Ontario curriculum, evaluation & assessment techniques
• Current understanding of research, integrating technology and best instructional practices
• Effective classroom management skills and ability to create a welcoming and safe Catholic learning environment for all students
