Your Opportunity: Rockyview General Hospital seeks an experienced Temperature Control Mechanic. This position offers a great opportunity for a skilled journeyperson to join the Facilities Maintenance team and contribute to healthcare infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in commercial or industrial ventilation systems and in maintenance, programming, testing, and troubleshooting BMS systems (Honeywell and Siemens). An Alberta Journeyperson Instrument Mechanic ticket or a 2-year diploma in instrumentation technology is highly desirable. Specific training on hospital systems will be provided.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintenance, repair, alteration, and installation of HVAC control devices
• System configuration and air balancing

Minimum Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in a related trade or technology program

Preferred Qualifications:

• Alberta Journeyperson Instrument Mechanic with Red Seal Certification or a 2-year diploma in instrumentation technology
• Minimum 2 years of experience with BMS systems, instrumentation, and HVAC control systems in industrial or institutional settings
• Experience with Boiler and burner management systems, preventive maintenance, reading engineering and vendor drawings, and using CMMS
