Job summary

AAA Canada is seeking an experienced RT/UT Welder Fitter for our Cambridge manufacturing site. You will perform manual welding in multiple positions, plan and execute RT/UT processes, and contribute to safety and quality.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in heavy manufacturing, experience with multiple welding processes, and strong blueprint interpretation. This Temp-to-Perm role offers stability, development through AAA Academy, and opportunities across aerospace and defense projects.

Qualifications

• Advanced welding program completed.
• 5+ years manual welding in heavy manufacturing.
• Experience with RT/UT quality standards and multiple welding processes.
• Strong blueprint reading and interpretation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret route sheets, engineering drawings, SIS, WPS and weld cards.
• Plan, organize, and execute RT/UT welding processes.
• Identify and verify workpiece materials before welding.
• Perform manual welding and repairs to RT/UT quality standards using multiple welding processes.
• Complete basic fitting operations per layouts.
• Communicate with team members and foremen to ensure workflow efficiency.
• Maintain safety and quality standards in all tasks.
• Work in confined spaces, at heights, and in various welding positions.
