Qualifications

• Proven commitment to workplace safety.
• Successfully completed an advanced welding program.
• 5 years manual welding in a heavy manufacturing environment.
• Ability to pass fit testing for the wearing of a respirator, if required.
• Must be comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights and in awkward positions.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret route sheets and drawings.
• Plan and organize the RT/UT welding process.
• Identify and verify work piece material.
• Communicate with the team members and shop foreman.
• Perform basic fitting to a pre-established layout.
