Job summary

CoolIT is seeking temporary Mechanical Assemblers for its manufacturing team in Canada. The role involves subassembly and final assembly of electro‑mechanical products, including wiring, fluids, and thermal transfer components. Two shifts are available: Day and Evening.

The team will work toward production deadlines and participate in Lean initiatives to improve efficiency. Candidates should have a high school diploma, experience with hand tools, and the ability to lift and handle parts.

Qualifications

• Experience with hand tools and reading basic instructions.
• Clear written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to perform basic math, measurements, and unit conversions.

Responsibilities

• Subassembly and final assembly of electro‑mechanical products with wiring, fluids, and thermal transfer components.
• Assemble prototypes and production Cold plate Loops, Manifolds, Tube assemblies, and Heat Exchanger Modules.
• Use hand, pneumatic, and electric tools and fixtures; follow SOPs and WIs.
• Provide input to improve safety, quality, productivity, and reduce errors.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to develop visual work instructions and fixtures.
• Participate in 5S+ and Kaizen activities and meet production deadlines.
• Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives to improve throughput and quality.
