Job summary

Elk Valley Resources (EVR) seeks a Technologist to join a high-performing team delivering and maintaining digital mining technologies. You will work on autonomous equipment, rugged devices, sensor networks, and asset health systems to optimize fleet productivity in the Elk Valley.

The role requires technical knowledge, analytical skills, and collaboration with IT, engineering, and operations. A compressed work week, on-call rotation, and strong safety culture are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Experience in mining or heavy industrial sector preferred.
• Ability to read and develop documentation such as process diagrams and system architecture.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot OT Telemetry systems incl. servers and sensors.
• Implement, monitor, and maintain OT cybersecurity controls per NIST/IEC standards.
• Support OT-related projects: upgrades, network segmentation, new tech integration.
