Ledcor Technical Services in Ottawa, ON is seeking an experienced Hydrovac Operator to support utility maintenance and construction projects. You will daylight, trench, and dig around utilities with safety and precision, especially in telecommunications environments.

Qualifications

• Must have previous hydro vac operating experience.
• Telecommunications industry experience is an asset.
• Must hold a valid DZ or AZ driver's license.
• Clean driving abstract and CVOR.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Day-lighting and soft excavating for telecom, hydro and gas.
• Follow health and safety policies and CVOR guidelines.
• Perform pre and post trip inspections and keep site clean and operating.
• Complete required paperwork daily.
• Set up and inspect grounding and/or bonding procedures for Hydrovac operation.
• Must be able to work in confined areas.
• Handle and distribute construction materials and equipment.
