Position Summary

Northern Health is seeking an experienced, efficient, and self-directed Tele-Care Office Assistant to support the Primary & Community Care department.

The Tele-Care Office Assistant (TOA) functions as a member of the Tele-Care interprofessional team, supporting providers and the team in delivering safe, efficient, and quality primary services through virtual support services. The role involves operational and administrative support at the virtual Tele-Care clinic, workspace management in MOIS, and communication with primary care providers, testing locations, and patients.

Key responsibilities include formatting and sending consultations, managing lab requisitions, assisting with booking public health requests, following up on lab results, sending sick notes, and ensuring appointment bookings are accurate.
