Job summary

SIGMAX, a member of the DPHV Group, is seeking a Tekla Modeler who can transform engineering drawings into precise 3D models and fabrication documents for steel structures. You will produce shop drawings, model components and connections, and prepare erection drawings while collaborating closely with coordinators and checkers to ensure accuracy and efficient project execution.

Candidates should have education in architectural drafting or related field, experience with Tekla Structures is a plus,

Qualifications

• Education in architectural drafting, building design, civil engineering technology, or related field.
• Experience with TEKLA Structures modeling (an asset).
• Good understanding of steel structures.
• Strong spatial visualization skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.

Your Role

You will contribute to the development of 3D models and fabrication drawings that are used directly in the manufacturing and construction of steel structures.

• Model steel components, assemblies, and connections;
• Prepare erection drawings and related documentation;
