Job summary

EQ Bank, Canada’s Challenger Bank, seeks a Manager of Technology Workplace Services to lead end user support operations in a hybrid Toronto setting. You will manage a team of Technologists, drive incident and service request workflows, and implement SOPs to streamline processes while maintaining a strong focus on risk and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of the bank’s end user support services, including intake, triage, incident de-escalation and service request handling with minimal business impact.
• Develop and institute standard operating procedures to streamline end user support processes.
• Provide people management: recruit, train, coach, and mentor Technologists; support internship programs and knowledge transfer.
• Cascade goals from leadership to staff, coach teams, and ensure effective feedback and growth.
• Support the bank’s risk, regulatory compliance and Control Framework; uphold security and compliance of endpoints.
