Qualifications

We are currently looking for a Technology Operations Specialist to join our team at our main office in Maple Ridge.

As a Technology Operations Specialist, you will play a critical support role within our Technology Department, reporting directly to the IT Services Manager. Your work will ensure our technology infrastructure operates efficiently, securely, and reliably across all departments and job sites. This is a hands-on, collaborative role with plenty of growth potential for someone passionate about technology and eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date tracking of all technology assets.
  • Coordinate purchasing records and asset documentation with Accounting.
  • Manage employee technology onboarding and offboarding in coordination with HR.
  • Provide Tier 1 helpdesk support for all IT-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot and support a range of tech, including computers, networks, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Support Microsoft 365 tools and user administration.
  • Maintain spare inventory for rapid response solutions.
  • Conduct job site visits as needed to address IT issues on location.
  • Assist with the development of training materials for software used internally.
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvements within the IT Department.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

• 3+ years of experience in an IT support or administrative role.
• Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
• Experience supporting users in an office or construction environment is an asset.

• Proficient in Office 365 Administration.
• Experience with networking and firewall configuration (UniFi experience is a plus).
• Interest or experience in programming is an asset.
• Troubleshooting desktop and mobile tech.
• Mobile device management (iOS).

Work Conditions

• This is a full-time position.
• Overtime as required.

• Office-based in Maple Ridge with flexibility for field support.
• Walking through uneven grounds on construction sites whenever required.
• Navigating around obstacles on construction sites whenever required.

Compensation: $60,000 – $76,000/year + 5% RRSP + 100% Employer-paid Extended Health & Dental + Life Insurance + LTD.
