Role Description :

The ETS Merger Technical Integration team is responsible for the successful integration of a merger of two firms. It is a large-scale, multiyear, complex program spanning multiple technical disciplines and locations.

The role of the Integration Project Manager is to lead and manage multiple sub-projects and deliverables under a program manager, following a structured and efficient program lifecycle.

The project manager will collaborate with numerous Technology teams from both companies to facilitate integration. This role is part of the Program Management team within the Enterprise Technology & Services (ETS) division, responsible for leading workstreams and providing project management support for various deliverables.

The Project Manager is responsible for planning and delivering various project phases and acts as a primary contact for a wide range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Driving end-to-end execution of projects/programs with multiple work streams
  • Identifying, resolving, and mitigating risks, actions, issues, and dependencies
  • Developing detailed delivery plans, information documents, and status reports
  • Coordinating across local, regional, and global projects, virtual teams, and matrix-managed teams
  • Facilitating project meetings, tracking, and publishing actions, plans, risks, and issues
  • Developing detailed project and migration plans in collaboration with technical teams
  • Ensuring adherence to project lifecycle quality and policy standards
  • Creating and communicating executive-level updates on projects or programs
  • Managing senior stakeholder relationships, communications, and escalations
  • Tracking and reporting risks and remediation plans across infrastructure workstreams
  • Managing data center and application migration projects

Experience & Skills required (Must have):

  • Experience managing IT Infrastructure projects using methodologies such as waterfall, agile/scrum, and hybrid approaches
  • Understanding of diverse technological environments including end-user technology, server platforms, networking (voice and data), cloud, data centers, and applications
  • Hands-on knowledge in one or more of these technology areas is preferred
  • Experience with mergers and technology integration
  • Excellent written and reporting skills
  • Ability to manage virtual teams across different cultures and locations
  • Highly organized with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Excel, MS Project)
  • Skill in developing and tracking metrics and outcomes
  • Proactive, positive attitude with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Adherence to business processes and procedures
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Flexibility, independence, self-motivation, and teamwork skills

Experience & Skills (Nice to have):

  • Project management certifications such as Agile certifications or PMP
  • Financial industry experience, preferably in tier 1 investment banking
