Job summary

APPLY is seeking a Technology Director to lead our Technology team and guide AI-enabled CX solutions for marquee brands in a hybrid/remote-friendly setup based near Toronto. You will shape strategy, oversee architecture, and partner with clients to deliver scalable digital experiences.

The role requires a proven technology leader who mentors multidisciplinary teams, drives AI-enabled delivery, and aligns technology initiatives with business goals while managing risks and vendor relationships.

Qualifications

Proven track record in a technology leadership role overseeing web/mobile experiences.
Experience delivering digital solutions with CX focus across multiple capabilities (accounts, products, transactions, personalization).
Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate software development.
Deep understanding of software engineering, system architecture, and project management.
Demonstrated ability to mentor teams and foster high-performance cultures.
Ability to advise clients and manage complex technology projects with senior stakeholders.
Experience with risk management across technical, staffing, scoping, and client relationships within e-commerce contexts.
Excellent client-facing skills and vendor management experience.
Calm, positive, solution-oriented leadership mindset.

Responsibilities

Oversee and guide the work of software engineers and technical team members to deliver high-quality digital consumer-facing solutions.
Leverage AI as a core set of tools, processes, and skills to drive value.
Define and manage high-level technical architecture and technology stack for scalable, secure, and SEO/GEO-optimized solutions.
AI-Led Delivery: use AI tools and teams to accelerate delivery while maintaining enterprise quality and security.
Thought Leadership: position Apply as a leader in AI-enabled digital solutions and educate clients on trends and performance improvements.
Composable Platforms: champion architectures that form enterprise digital experience platforms.
Mentorship & Team Collaboration: develop expertise and coordinate cross-functional delivery squads.
