Job summary

Infosys is seeking an Technology Analyst - Azure Databricks - Data Engineer to enable digital transformation for clients in a global delivery model. You will research technologies, recommend solutions, and contribute to technology-specific best practices while interfacing with stakeholders across the SDLC.

Your role involves end-to-end project work in Azure, Databricks, Python, PySpark and SQL, with strong emphasis on SQL and Unix shell scripting, in a collaborative, learning-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required; equivalent professional experience may count.
• At least 4 years of information technology experience in relevant roles.
• Experience in end-to-end implementation using Azure, Databricks, Python, PySpark and SQL; Unix shell scripting

Infosys is seeking an Technology Analyst - Azure Databricks - Data Engineer

In this role, you will enable digital transformation for our clients in a global delivery model, research on technologies independently, recommend appropriate solutions and contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards. You will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle. RequiredQualifications

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance ofMississauga, ON /Calgary, AB (Canada)or be willing to relocate to the area.This position may require travel in the US

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
• Experience in end-to-end implementation of projects in Azure, Databricks, Python, PySpark, SQL.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in SQL, Unix shell scripting

PreferredQualifications

• Sound knowledge of software engineering design patterns and practices
• Strong knowledge Data structures, Data Engineering concepts, Algorithms, Collections, Multi-threading and memory management and concurrency
• Experience in large scale cloud data migrations using Databricks, Python, Spark, SQL.
• Good understanding of Agile software development frameworks
• Experience in Banking/Financial domain
• Good to have experience in Snowflake
• Strong communication and Analytical skills
• Ability to work in teams in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment comprising of Business and Technology teams
• Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment

Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be: Ontario: $72783 to $105007

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements
