Job description

The Opportunity : iN STUDIO has an exciting opportunity to join our team. We seek individuals capable of working on multiple projects, collaborating with Designers and Partners to support models and all efforts related to Interior Design and Architecture. The role requires extensive experience in drawing and the CA process, along with strong knowledge of Revit technology, design technology models, standards development, and practice. Candidates should demonstrate proven ability to guide teams, educate staff on technological elements, and engage in troubleshooting and continuous improvement in a thoughtful, process-oriented, supportive manner.

Responsibilities :

1. Produce detailed and constructible technical drawings for interior design, considering design, detail, and modeling accordingly.
2. Participate in on-site reviews and attend site meetings as needed.
3. Identify potential technical issues early in the design process and provide solutions to ensure high-quality client deliverables.
4. Coordinate with external consultants such as mechanical, electrical, and structural engineers to ensure design constructability.
5. Work closely with project teams to generate construction documentation using Revit and AutoCAD models.
6. Assist in contract administration by handling RFIs and reviewing shop drawings.
7. Optimize model management for performance and user experience.
8. Contribute to at least one iN Studio committee and promote a positive company culture.

Qualifications and Skills :

• Advanced diploma or bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design, or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in interior and/or architectural design, with at least 3 years in corporate interiors projects.
• Strong graphic communication skills and ability to produce professional drawings.
• Experience mentoring project teams and transferring technical skills.
• Excellent client service skills, supportive and professional communication.
• Expertise in Revit, including parametric families, scheduling, and production streamlining with add-ins.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite.
• Experience with architectural visualization tools (e.g., Enscape, Twinmotion, Lumion) is an asset.
• Experience with ACC (BIM 360) model collaboration and review using Issues module is an asset.
• Comprehensive understanding of building systems and codes.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working both collaboratively and independently.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing project requirements.
