Blanche River Health is seeking a part-time Diagnostic Imaging Technologist for their Kirkland Lake site. The role involves performing X-Ray and CT procedures under supervision, requiring strong technical skills and independent judgment. Qualifications

Diagnostic Imaging Technologist (Permanent Part-time) - Primary Site: Kirkland Lake

Blanche River Health offers:

**Position Responsibilities:**

  1. X-Ray & CT - The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist reports to the Manager of Diagnostic Imaging Services.
  2. Under the supervision of a Radiologist, performs procedures at a technical level with minimal supervision.
  3. Performs a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment, skill, ingenuity, and initiative.

**Qualifications:**

  • Active registration with the College of Medical Radiology & Imaging Technologists of Ontario in good standing.
  • Previous CT experience is considered an asset.
  • Fluency in both official languages is an asset.
  • Physical capacity to perform work involving lifting and positioning of equipment and patients, in accordance with BRH policies.
  • Ability to travel within the hospital premises.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Expanse, and other relevant computer software.
