Job description

Position Summary

The WMS Consultant is responsible for leading the WMS implementation and actively participating in the WMS design, configuration, testing, and project management.

Serve as the subject matter expert on Manhattan Associates (MA) Warehouse Management System (WMS- ACTIVE), with in-depth knowledge of Inbound, Outbound functions, and the client's unique business requirements.

Responsibilities

1. Have 8+ years of Manhattan WMS experience, including at least 1-2 years in implementing Manhattan Active.
2. Develop comprehensive functional requirements and specifications for seamless integration between Manhattan Active WMS and SAP.
3. Create detailed documentation, including Functional Specification Documents (FSD), outlining integration processes and workflows.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, ensuring system capabilities are aligned.
5. Conduct thorough system testing and validation to ensure accuracy and efficiency of WMS integrations.
6. Provide expert guidance on best practices and solutions for optimizing WMS functionalities, especially in the context of SAP integration.
7. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies for continuous process improvement.
8. Experience in Supply Chain Management, focusing on Manhattan WMS configurations, functional testing, system integration testing, end-to-end testing, and release management for complex warehouse implementations.
9. Possess extensive knowledge of Manhattan WMS across various versions and global implementations.
10. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, translating business needs into actionable functional specifications.
