Technician on the road

I'm looking for a responsible bilingual on-the-road technician to repair and maintain printers. Do you have experience as an electromechanic in printing equipment? The role involves providing troubleshooting technical support to a company specializing in printing. The person will act as a resource for customers and sales representatives. Responsibilities include repairing, preparing, and maintaining various equipment, ensuring customer satisfaction in line with company standards.

Important: Candidates must be authorized to work in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Shift: Day shift

Salary: Between $23-34

Location: Montreal

Responsibilities

• On-site intervention: Diagnose, troubleshoot electrically and mechanically, clean machines, ensure installation compliance, and maintain cleanliness.
• Pre-trip preparation: Understand the problem, respect safety standards, and ensure equipment is ready.
• Follow-up and documentation: Complete service reports, validate customer satisfaction, communicate with dispatcher, and update digital records.
• Administrative tasks: File reports, record expenses, provide telephone support, and support tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in French and English; DEP in electromechanics; knowledge of printing, computers, electronics is a plus.
• Mechanical, electrical, electronic, computer, and internet skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, good hygiene, problem-solving abilities.
• Organized, autonomous, good at time management.
• Manual skills for dismantling/reassembling equipment and manual load handling.
