As an Airport Security Service Technician, you will be a part of a team providing service on The Canadian Air Transport Security Authority’s (CATSA) passenger screening equipment at airports across Canada. Education / Skills Requirements :

• Graduate of technical school, military training in electronics engineering technology, and / or related trade certification required
• Experience in a field service environment with direct experience in x-ray, screening technologies, and / or knowledge of complex mechanical systems is highly desirable
• Computer literacy and aptitude for learning specialized software programs
• Motivated, self-starter with strong communication skills (English Fluency is mandatory. French fluency would be an asset)
• Excellent customer interface and communication skills, both verbal and written are required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Applications and Operating Systems

Physical Requirements :

• Possess strong hands-on abilities, manual dexterity, physical strength, and stamina
• Capability to sit, stand for prolonged periods, walk, climb, reach, bend and maneuver around equipment and work areas is required
