Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine required work;
• Assemble and install oil-fired heating systems using manual or mechanical tools;
• Install burner components such as thermostats, motors, ducts, and safety devices, connecting them to fuel, ventilation, and electrical systems;
• Start up and adjust burners for optimal operation;
• Diagnose and repair faults in oil burners and their components;
• Install, maintain, and repair heating systems;
• Perform periodic maintenance on oil heating appliances;
• Handle materials and equipment safely and effectively.

Qualifications

• DEP in Plumbing/Heating or DEP in Mechanical of Fixed Machines (MMF);
• RBQ/CMMTQ Sub-License 15.1 for Air Pulsed Heating Systems;
• Ability to bend or stand for extended periods;
• Valid driver’s license.
