Role Overview

The Machine Technician II operates blow-mold, grinders, trimmer machines, and conveyor systems. Responsible for troubleshooting, performing minor maintenance, and ensuring the production line's continuous operation, while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices.

Additional Responsibilities

• Master entry-level Machine Operator skills and mentor Level-1 operators
• Follow quality control and process procedures
• Troubleshoot and resolve process issues
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Maintain critical processing outputs and operate multiple lines
• Repair pneumatic and hydraulic lines
• Assist with mechanical changes and mechanical troubleshooting
• Train and shadow other operators as needed
• Efficiently change colors with minimal product loss

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of machine operator experience
• Intermediate mathematical and computer skills
• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of Altium Machine Technician Level II training

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Requires standing, walking, handling, reaching, climbing, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, in a noisy, temperature-variable environment with PPE required.
