Job Description

The Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining facility systems, performing inspections, and carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical and other systems.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting : Observe and report on facility and system conditions, suggesting improvements.
• Maintenance : Conduct inspections, perform repairs, operate systems, manage work orders, and ensure safety and compliance.
• Client Relations : Enhance tenant satisfaction through quality service.
• Administration : Assist with projects, maintain tools, and submit expenditures timely.
• Knowledge & Skills : High school diploma with trades training, experience with HVAC or hydraulic systems, knowledge of BAS, effective communication, and availability for on-call duties.

Licenses and / or Professional Accreditation

• Power Engineer Certification (5th class required, 4th class a strong asset).

This is a full-time position with a salary range of $52,864 - $66,080 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
