Job Description
  • Req#: 1183506

Summary of Tasks

  • Review weekly reports, monitor backlog, establish priorities with production dispatchers and the inspection team;
  • Support the definition of test requirements with clients;
  • Write functional test procedures for mechanical systems and components;
  • Support design and fabrication of tooling for component testing;
  • Perform calibration of structural components;
  • Conduct laboratory testing for clients such as Innovation, Programs, Engineering, and Operations;
  • Generate and review reports for laboratory clients;
  • Assist in troubleshooting component issues on assembly lines and with suppliers.

Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Mechanical Engineering;
  • Relevant university courses are an asset;
  • At least three years of relevant experience, preferably in a mechanical or aerospace technology laboratory environment;
  • Experience with mechanical testing and flight systems integration;
  • Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electro-mechanical systems;
  • Familiarity with testing software: LabVIEW, VeriStand, CATIA, ENOVIA;
  • Understanding of flight testing instrumentation and data acquisition systems;
  • Functional knowledge of French and English languages.
