Brandt is currently seeking Field Service Technicians for our Laval Construction & Forestry location.

This position is responsible for the repair and maintenance of construction and forestry equipment and attachments in a shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, assemble / disassemble, order parts for, and repair heavy-duty equipment efficiently and effectively.
• Use tools, equipment, and computer systems safely and efficiently.
• Document all machine information, actions taken, and time on work orders accurately and completely.
• Assess service task hazards and ensure work is performed safely and according to standards.
• Use applications like John Deere Service Advisor for maintenance documentation, inspection, and diagnosis.
• Use parts catalogues to locate and order parts.
• Road test equipment and check attachments as needed.

Skills and Experience

Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team, and branch personnel.

Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Physical capability to perform heavy lifting (up to 23 kg), climbing, and other physical tasks.

Qualifications

Previous experience in heavy machinery / mechanical field preferred.

Certified Journeyperson or apprentice in heavy duty equipment trade preferred.

Commitment to customer service and service excellence.
