Qualifications

As a Flight Line Maintenance Technician, you will support the Airbus final assembly line to ensure the timely delivery of PW1500 propulsion systems and Airbus A220 aircraft. The role involves working on-site at the Airbus facility in Mirabel, with a weekend schedule (Saturday, Sunday, Monday PM) and flexible hours.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Respond to technical concerns at the Aircraft Final Assembly Line and provide solutions.
  2. Follow technical manuals, bulletins, instructions, drawings, and engineering modifications in English.
  3. Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting on PW1500 engines, systems, and components.
  4. Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on propulsion systems.
  5. Replace or repair defective engine and nacelle components.
  6. Perform engine swaps and measurements (step and gap).
  7. Conduct boroscope inspections.
  8. Maintain accurate records and databases per Transport Canada and FAA requirements.
  9. Ensure safety protocols are followed to protect personnel and equipment.
  10. Manage tools and protective equipment inventory, calibration, and condition checks.
Qualifications for Success
  1. Knowledge of propulsion and nacelle systems and their interfaces.
  2. Experience with boroscope inspections.
  3. Understanding of EH&S requirements.
  4. Licensed aircraft maintenance engineer (AME) M2 from Transport Canada or FAA A&P license.
  5. Experience in engine overhaul and heavy maintenance.
  6. Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  7. Minimum 10 years of line maintenance experience on propulsion systems.

This role requires excellent English skills for reading technical documentation and communicating with international clients and colleagues. Fluency in French is also expected in the work environment.
