The role covers maintenance, repair, overhaul, inspections and troubleshooting, ensuring compliance with CARs, OEM manuals and MPM procedures across multiple facilities.

Qualifications

  • Experience in turbine engine maintenance and repair.
  • Disassembly, inspection, troubleshooting and reassembly skills.
  • Understanding FAA airworthiness, traceability and documentation.
  • Ability to work well in a team and share knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Disassemble, inspect, repair and reassemble M250 II/IV and RR300 engines.
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions and recommend repairs or replacements.
  • Clean engine components using approved processes and equipment.
  • Perform dimensional inspections with precision measuring tools.
  • Document work per FAA and company requirements.
  • Ensure parts meet airworthiness and serviceability standards.
  • Use OEM manuals, service bulletins and drawings to guide work.
  • Support engine testing and performance validation as needed.
  • Coordinate with QA and Engineering on technical issues.
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas and comply with safety rules.

JMC Aviation is supporting a leading global engine MRO provider specializing in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of Rolls-Royce M250 and RR300 engines. Operating across multiple international facilities, the company supports customers in a range of industries including emergency services, law enforcement, military, agricultural, industrial and tourism.

Within this role, you will join an experienced and highly skilled team focused on delivering high-quality engine maintenance, reliability and exceptional customer service.

Primary Objective

Perform maintenance, repair, overhaul, inspection and troubleshooting activities on Rolls-Royce M250 Series II, IV and RR300 engines, ensuring all work is completed in accordance with the applicable standards of airworthiness specified in the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs), manufacturer's maintenance manuals, and company MPM procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complete disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of M250 Series II, IV, and RR300 engines and modules.
  • Troubleshoot engine malfunctions and recommend repairs or replacements.
  • Clean engine components using approved processes and equipment.
  • Conduct dimensional inspections using precision measuring tools and interpret results.
  • Record and document work performed per FAA and company requirements.
  • Ensure that all parts meet airworthiness and serviceability standards.
  • Use OEM manuals, service bulletins, and engineering drawings to guide maintenance procedures.
  • Participate in engine testing and performance validation as needed.
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Background in turbine engine maintenance and repair and familiarity with the design and operation of gas turbines
  • Technical knowledge in turbine engine disassembly, inspection, troubleshooting, and reassembly.
  • Understanding of FAA compliance, airworthiness, traceability, and turbine engine documentation requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams, learn new skills quickly and share knowledge with colleagues
  • Transport Canada M License (M1 or M2) required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in certified MRO facility desirable
  • Familiarity with Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO)
  • Experience with Rolls-Royce M250 Series II, IV and RR300 engines
Physical & Working Requirements
  • Ability to work within a shop-based environment with individual workstations.
  • Comfortable working with shared special and precision tooling.
  • Ability to safely perform hands-on engine maintenance, repair and overhaul activities.
  • Willingness to follow all required safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
