Job summary

Desjardins Group is offering a temporary 6-month position as a Product Administration Technician in Quebec. You will provide administrative support, conduct technical studies, and help administer specialized products and client accounts.

The role requires strong decision-making, effective data processing, and collaboration with English-speaking partners. As a technical collaborator, you will tailor approaches, analyze processes, and develop improved methods and procedures while supporting users

Qualifications

  • Two years of relevant experience required.
  • Knowledge of French and English required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for projects and operational issues.
  • Conduct technical studies, research and analysis.
  • Serve as resource person for solutions and action plans.
  • Prepare technical notes to enhance user skills and knowledge.
  • Help practitioners follow unit processes and use business solutions, tools and systems.
  • Review information requests and conduct research per standards and policies.
  • Design, produce and analyze reports on sector activities.

Job description

Temporary 6 month position. As a product administration technician, you provide administrative support to Desjardins components and help administer specialized products and member/client accounts. You serve as technical collaborator and provide discipline-specific support for your unit’s activities, initiatives and processes. The ability to tailor your approach as needed is therefore essential. You research and analyze processes, information management and data processing. You draw on your sound decision-making skills to solve technical problems and help develop and improve methods and procedures.

More specifically, you will be required to:
  • Provide technical support for projects and operational issues
  • Conduct technical studies, research and analysis.
  • Serve as resource person for the submission of solutions and action plans
  • Prepare technical notes to enhance the skills and knowledge of users and their teams
  • Help practitioners follow your unit’s processes and use its business solutions, tools and systems
  • Review information requests and conduct research to respond in accordance with standards and policies
  • Design, produce and analyze reports on your sector’s activities.

What you bring to the table
  • General college diploma in a related field
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience
  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required (Poste au QC seulement)
  • Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or client
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
