Nvira iscurrently looking for a civil engineering technician tojoin our Materials Engineering team in Montreal orQuebec City.

The mainresponsibility of this position will be to carry out samplingand quality control tests on soils, cement concrete andbituminous concrete, in collaboration with your colleagues. Youwill become our expert in the field!

RoleResponsibilities

  • Acting as theproject manager’s assistant in carrying out work onworksites.
  • Performingquality control tests on soils, cement concrete andbituminous concrete.
  • Monitoringconstruction work on road infrastructure andbuildings.
  • Entering datacollected and drafting material control reports inaccordance with the various stages of theproject.

Requirements

RequiredQualifications

  • Youhave completed college studies in environment, geology, civilengineering or a related field.
  • Youhave a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a practicalrole.
  • Youhave completed an ASP construction certification.
  • Youhold a valid class 5 driver’s license and can travel throughoutthe province of Quebec.
  • Youhave very good fitness skills.
  • Youare an excellent communicator, both orally and inwriting.
